I was going to include all the decorations for the party in this post as well but it made this post SOOOO LONG and picture HEAVY I decided to break it up. Tomorrow, I will share ALL the decorations.
I can’t believe my baby girl is ONE!
Where has the year gone?!
At the beginning of the year, I started thinking about her first birthday. Never too early right? Then I got pregnant and all the planning was just in my head until the end of April or so when I finally had the energy to start prepping.
I went with a Garden Party theme since her birthday falls at the end of May.
Here’s is a recap of Miss P’s big day!
I created these invitations and tried to coordinate the party off this invite.
Miss P got all dressed up in her pretty floral dress for her birthday. I had this dress since she was WAY little and I love how she looked in it.
I think she liked her dress too! 🙂
Mom and dad had to get some pictures with our girl in her dress.
After hanging out outside with all our friends, playing a few games and eating, it was time to go in to open presents.
Miss P was a champ present opener! She was grabbing that tissue paper out of the bags like she has been doing it for years then grabbing the clothes or toys inside. We were very impressed with her skills! lol
After presents, we stripped her down and got ready for cake!
She wasn’t so sure at first about eating the cake. I actually had to get some on her fingers and put it in her mouth for her but once she got that first taste, there was NO turning back!
She was in cake Heaven!
We kept trying to get her to share her cake and she wanted nothing to do with it.
Finally, she shared with her cousin Cooper, then a little for Daddy, and lastly she thought I needed to try some cake too.
She got REAL generous with Daddy and thought he needed it all over his face too!
And Travis thought he would get a super nice bite of cake by shoving his face in himself.
A little break from eating for a family photo.
I set up a photo booth so here is our family photo in front of the back drop.
Photo booth fun from some of the guests!
More photo fun!
My sister and her family got to come out for the party so I got to meet my new nephew finally. He is 9 mths old and Miss P and him had a great time together! They could be twins!
I am so happy my whole family was able to come out and celebrate Miss P’s first birthday.
My nephew, Cooper, wanted to take a family shot of all of us all by himself. Not too shabby!
I still can’t believe she is one!
But her party was a lot of fun and even though she probably won’t remember it, I think P did too!
Come back tomorrow to see all the decorations from the party!
