1st Birthday Stat Display Board

I have another tutorial on one of the items that I created for Miss P’s first birthday.
It is so easy to create, so easy I only have a few pictures for this post!
I wanted to share some fun facts with the guest about Miss P so I made a Stat Board and displayed it on our mantle.
Here’s a quick how to:

-Cutting Machine (I used my Silhouette for this project.)
I asked Travis to make the board for me.
I gave him the dimensions on how large I wanted it and he made it using some slats of wood from an old fence.
Just glue and nail the boards to two boards on the back.
Time to add your words!
I actually played around on PicMonkey first and designed what I wanted the sign to look like.
When I had what I wanted, I pulled out some vinyl and got to work figuring it all out with my Silhouette.
I measured things out first determining what would be on each board and how many boards each category would need.
I then cut out a few words out of paper first to determine if the sizing was correct.
Once, I had what I liked, I just picked a few different fonts and got busy cutting everything out.
I had pre-planned on a piece of paper what would be cut out of each color so when I was using that sheet of vinyl, I cut everything out at once.
Once, it was all cut out, time to apply!
If you are doing this on wood like mine above, make sure your wood is clean and relativly smooth. Some of my boards were a little rough and the vinyl didn’t want to stick to it very well.
I love how it came out and it was a big hit at the party!
It is great for a first birthday party to share how much the baby
accomplished the first year of life but it would be fun for any age as

Love this! My little girl's birthday is in less than a month, and I see lots of similarities! She loves her wubbanub, too (his name is Puppy.) I'll definitely be trying to do something like this for her party. Thanks for sharing!
