HELP! I can’t decide on a Nursery Color Scheme!

I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO need your help!!
Now that we’ve decided to split the girl’s up and Baby M 2.0 will have her own room, I have been in “Decorate nursery mode.”
I know what we are going to do on one of the walls in her room but I can’t decide on a color scheme and with only 10 weeks left, I’M STRESSING OUT!!!!
We plan on putting this plank treatment on the crib/focal wall.
It won’t be as rustic and just painted solid white.

My goal for this week is to pin point the color scheme and PRAY I can find at least one of the fabrics that will go in her room.
I’ve been on the search for fabric and nothing as screamed “Use me in your nursery!” either so I thought I would try to get the colors first.
So, will you help me out?!
I am kinda all over the place with the color schemes that I like. I like a few different ones and just am not positive which route I really want to go. Some are on the brighter side, some are a lighter… AHHHHH!
I am going to share a few that I’ve pinned and like and will you please vote on what you like best?!
Some are pretty similar so I will try to place those near each other.
THANKS!!
Sorry that some of the pics are blurry. They were small and I couldn’t find a larger image of them so hope you can tell the colors.
A.) This is the scheme I was originally going to do for Baby M 2.0 when she was going to share a room with her sister. It would be a brighter yellow though.
I still really like it but trying to decide if I want to completely change it up from Miss P’s.
B.) This is similar to Scheme A. but it has more green in it but I think I still like it with yellow.

C.) I have always thought this color scheme would be SO cute for a little girl’s room.
D.) Very similar to Scheme C just a few more colors added and the green is softer.
E.) Similar to C and D as well.
F.) This is also similar to the previous 3 but on a lighter scale.
G.) A little more minty
H.) Light tones and instead of minty green, how about some light blue.
I.) Similar to the scheme above but it is a little bit deeper in tones.
J.) Same as above but adding in some yellow for a little more pop.
K.) Deeper jewel tones- Instead of aqua bring in a navy (which I am loving right now) and then an orange/deep yellow.
L.) Take out the purple and separate the orange and yellow.
M.) More pinks and more of a grayish navy blue.
N.) Navy, hot pink, and yellow (I love this look but wonder if it will be too dark.)
O.) And something a little different- blue, orange, and pink
Again- some are very similar so I tried to group them. Guess there are about 4 or 5 schemes total.
PLEASE leave a comment with the letter of the scheme(s) you like best!!
I would SOOOOOOOO appreciate it! 🙂

Bubble Burlap Fall Wreath Tutorial

It is too early for a fall project?
Seeing that September is literally right around the corner, I thought why not go ahead and make a little something for fall.
Hope you don’t mind! 🙂
 Here’s how I created it.
Supplies:
 -Wreath form
-Burlap
-Wreath picks
-Hot Glue Gun
-Floral pins
Buttons

Cut the burlap into strips.
Hot glue one end of the strip to the wreath form and begin wrapping the form.
Cover form completely.
Then take the same color burlap and cut it into squares.
For the next step, you will need the burlap squares and the floral pins.
Take the square and place each corner of the burlap onto one end of the pin.
The front should look like this.
I placed two pieces of burlap on each pin, one of each arm.
Push the pins into the wreath form.
Cover the entire form with the burlap bubbles.
If you can see some of the floral pins, just adjust the burlap until it covers the pin. Super easy.
I then decided I wanted to add some sort of flower along with the berries so I pulled out orange and red burlap and got to work.
Red flower:
I cut the red burlap into strips.
For a bigger flowers, cut the strips a little longer and wider.
I then glued each end of the strip together.
Glue the pieces together forming a flower.
I then placed a button in the center to cover up the center.
Orange flower:
Cut three circles, all different sizes.
And, I cut super small strips and glued them into a square.
I used Fray Check on the edges of the circles to help prevent the burlap from pulling apart.
Stack the pieces together.
I used the small squares between each circle to add a little depth between them for a more layered look.

Top with a button and you are good!
I then just placed the flowers on the burlap until I had the arrangement that I liked.
When I was happy with how they were placed, I hot glued them into place.
Lastly, I tore apart the berry wreath picks and pushed the wire of the berries into the wreath form until I was happy with how it looked.
Just placed a ribbon on the back for hanging and it was complete!
I am happy with how my first fall project of the year came out.
I plan on using it on my fireplace when I get it all decked out for fall so be on the lookout for that post once I get it all set up! 🙂

Linking up to some of these parties.

Baby M 2.0 Update: 29 Weeks

Another week almost in the books and the ticker is getting a little louder on Baby M’s arrival!
Crazy!!!!

How far along? 29 weeks
Total weight gain: I think I am about 17 or 18 lbs.
Maternity clothes?
I’ve been in pretty much all maternity pants now but I can still wear plenty of my regular shirts.
Stretch marks?
Not new ones… just the ones from Miss P. 😛
Sleep: Pretty good. Had a few nights of having trouble falling asleep but not bad staying asleep.

Best moment this week: Few
moments this week… Our kitchen cabinets getting painted and put back together! (check out my instagram pics for some sneak peaks. The big reveal will come after our backsplash is complete.) Also, we decided that the girls will NOT share a room anymore! So… time to start planning a new nursery! Wish me luck!

Miss Anything? Breathing
normally and not needing to eat something every 2 stinkin’ hours! I am
getting to the point of my hips hurting, especially in the mornings, so
waking up and walking normally- not like a 98 yr old who needs a walker
would be great! lol

Movement: I
definitely feel baby girl much more these days. She is pretty laid back
and chill but she is starting to move more and I definitely can expect
to feel her around certain times now.
Food cravings: Nope which isn’t surprising because I didn’t crave anything with Miss P.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still

when I get really congested and can’t breathe it makes me sick. Other
than that, it is when I let too much time pass between snacks or meals.
Gender: GIRL!!!
Labor Signs: Nope
Belly Button (in or out): It is still in but rather shallow these days.

Wedding Rings (on or off): On
Symptoms: Congestion!

BLAH! A little round ligament pain and I am starting to get the hip
pain when sleeping on one side for too long. I think I need to go to a
chiropractor and get my hips realigned. Pretty sure one good push would
do it for me!
Happy or Moody most of the time: Relatively happy.
Looking forward to: Figuring out stuff for the nursery and getting started on it all! 🙂 Better get a move on since we have 10 1/2 weeks to go!

“No Soliciting” Vinyl Decal Sign

I have a super easy project today for ya.
We get SOOOOOO many solicitors in our neighborhood. It drives me bonkers!
No, I don’t need my carpets cleaned, I don’t want to take your survey, and I already have cable so I don’t want to switch.
I was so tired of hearing our doorbell ring from these people (and ignoring them) that I finally made a “No Soliciting” sign to put on our storm door.

Ready to know how I did it?

I just whipped open my Silhouette software and got to designing.
I played around with the fonts until I had something that I liked and used a frame to dress it up a little and make it a little more substantial so it would be noticable.
Once I had what I liked, I cut it out using white outdoor vinyl.
I made sure to clean my glass before applying the vinyl to my storm door.
I placed it just below our door handle so when someone walks up, it would be noticable if they were to press our doorbell.
So far, it is working like a charm and it is FABULOUS!
Do you have a lot of solicitors that knock on your door?

Baby M 2.0 Update: Week 28

How am I this far in my pregnancy?
I feel like time is flying and I am prefectly fine with that, but then I freak myself out knowing how much time is left and knowing I haven’t done ANYTHING to prepare for Baby 2.
 Anyways…

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain: I think I am about 17 or 18 lbs.
Maternity clothes?
I’ve been in pretty much all maternity pants now but I can still wear plenty of my regular shirts.
Stretch marks?
Not new ones… just the ones from Miss P. 😛
Sleep: Since we’ve been home, I had a few nights of congestion so I have had to get up more than once at night to try to clear up my nose but other than that, I am sleeping well still.

Best moment this week: Few moments this week… Everything went well at my 28 wk appt. Hated that I had to take my gluclose test but thrilled I PASSED! And we got brand new countertops installed and today are cabinets are being painted! 🙂

Miss Anything? Breathing normally and not needing to eat something every 2 stinkin’ hours! I am getting to the point of my hips hurting, especially in the mornings, so waking up and walking normally- not like a 98 yr old who needs a walker would be great! lol

Happy or Moody most of the time: I have been happy but I have had quite a few moody moments as well. I think with the house being a wreck from the kitchen renovation is driving me nuts and my patience has been short.
Looking forward to: Our kitchen being complete! Well, the cabinets painted at least. We will still need to pick out and install a backsplash.
And I am HOPING and PRAYING to be able to find some crafting time this week too!
