I hope you all are doing well and that you had a fabulous Thanksgiving.
I just wanted to pop in today to share a Christmas wreath with all of you.
I actually made this a few weeks ago and meant to share it earlier and well… a baby came and things got crazy!
So here ya go!
This wreath is very similar to my Spring Chevron Wreath but if you didn’t see that one, I’ll share how I made this one as well.
-Burlap Ribbon (I got mine at Hobby Lobby)
-Wooden tree or other design
-Decorative wreath picks- optional instead of wooden tree
Start by wrapping the wreath form in burlap to cover up the foam.
Next, take your first ribbon and create loops around the wreath form using the floral pins to hold it to the form.
If you don’t like the size and spacing of your loops, you can easily pull out the pins and redo it.
Intertwine the second ribbon in with the first, again readjusting if need be.
And lastly, add your third ribbon, if you are using three.
If you are using more, just keep layering!
To hang the wreath, I just cut a piece of ribbon and made a loop.
I attached it with a floral pin and then put hot glue on top of it to make sure it wouldn’t slip out.
I painted the wooden tree and decorated it a little.
Once it was dry, I glued it to the wreath where I wanted it.
And that’s it!
You could easily use the wreath picks instead for a little something extra.
I am very happy with how it turned out and am looking forward to hanging it up on our door this year instead of my normal pine looking wreath.
I hope you guys are enjoying all the guest posts! I will pop back in soon! 🙂
