Time to Move, AGAIN

Hello everyone!
Happy Memorial Day!
I have been meaning to write this post for quite some time now but I just haven’t gotten around to sitting down to share with all of you that we are moving, AGAIN!
Yep, after moving to Fort Leavenworth, KS, just north of Kansas City, last summer, it is time to for us to move on. Our stuff is currently all packed up waiting to be picked up tomorrow so we’ll be living without our stuff for quite some time. We knew we’d only be in Kansas for a year but I don’t know if I am ever truly ready for our life to be packed up into boxes and taken away.
Even with that said, we are SUPER excited about where we are headed to next!!
We’ve been wanting to go for years now, in fact, we were suppose to go here 8 years ago but had to change things up, so I am thankful we have another opportunity to go where we are going.
Are you ready to find out where we are going?
Well, we are going to….
GERMANY!!!
 Yep, Germany!!
We are so excited to have this opportunity to go live in Europe and experience the culture and travel any and everywhere!
The girls are excited as well, do they know exactly how different life will be in Germany, no, but it will so awesome to have the experience in their young life and hopefully we’ll make amazing memories together as a family.
We have been practicing our German using an app on our phones and Miss P is picking it up so quickly! I can’t wait to see how both of the girls progress with their German once we are immersed in the middle of German life.
We will be moving to Kaiserslautern, Germany.
We will be located in the south western side of Germany. We will be only about 4 hrs from Paris as well as Switzerland.
We can’t wait to travel to other countries and explore all the little villages around us in Germany.
And I truly CANNOT wait for all the Christmas Markets!! I already told Travis don’t expect us to be home any weekend near Christmas because we are going to be off to a market any chance we get!
We officially head to Germany just after July 4th so if you don’t already, follow me on Instagram because I am sure I will be in picture overload mode for a while! lol
Also, stayed tuned for even more exciting news!
Hopefully, that news will be shared in the next few weeks too. I just need to narrow down some of the details! 🙂

MHCT&M: Kid Bedroom Organizational Ideas

Hello everyone and happy Friday!

All month we’ve been sharing tips for kid’s bedrooms. We’ve shared DIY beds, cute pillows to sew, fun book storage ideas and today, I am going to share organizational ideas to help keep those bedrooms tidy, well if your child uses these ideas properly to keep them tidy. 😉

Check out the great ideas and hopefully one of them will inspire you to reorganize your child’s room.

(Inspiration Made Simple)
Have a Nerf gun lover in your house?
Build a Nerf Gun Peg Board to store all those guns in one place.

 (It’s Always Autumn)
Does your child have a ton of stuffed animals like mine do? Check out this cute Hanging Stuff Animal Swing. I think I need to make this for both of my girls.

 (Polished Habit)
Think outside the organizational box and use a over the door pantry organizer to store books.

 (Reality Daydream)
Organization the closet so that every space has a purpose and label items so everything can be put back into their proper home.

(The Happy Housie)
Have a Lego lover in your house?
Check out this Under the Bed Lego Rolling Cart to keep all those tiny piece organized but also within reach.

Under the bed is a space not always properly utilized and this Roll-Away Storage Closet is perfect for a small space or a space with a small closet.

 (Shades of Blue Interiors)
Here is another great ideas to help keep all those beloved stuff animals all in one space. Build a Stuffed Animal Corral that hooks over the end of the bed to help keep them all in one space but within reach when they just need a little snuggle buddy at night.

(Ana White Homemaker)
Does your child enjoy doing art but there just isn’t room for a large art space?
Build a Flip Down Wall Art Desk that provides the tabletop but doesn’t take up valuable floor space.

Check out this Magnetic Match Box Car Storage Solution idea. Perfect to keep all those little car visible.

There you have it!
Hopefully one of those ideas can work in your home. I see a few that I may have to make! 🙂

Be sure to come back next month with for all new tips and tricks.
Happy Memorial Day!

“Sticking with Me” Teacher Appreciation Gift and Printable Tag

This post was originally published on April 25, 2018 but I have an updated gift tag to share today.
The original tag is also still available at the bottom of the post if that is the tag you would like to print.

I have one more gift idea for you today for Teacher Appreciation Week.

Gifts don’t have to be crazy expensive or large and over the top. You can still do small, simple gifts that will show your child’s teacher how much they are appreciated for the hard work they do all day.

Teachers write notes for all sorts of things, quick reminder for themselves, a note for another teacher or parent, to place inside a file, so post-it notes are a great gift idea. There are lots of fun colors, patterns and sizes that you can buy for the gift as well so you can give them a variety.

I found these in the office supply section at my local Wal-Mart store.

Since post-it notes are sticky, I wanted to make some cute tags with Cacti and Succulents on it because if you aren’t too careful, a cactus will stick you too! lol
I designed three separate tags for you to use.

Just print, cute and tie around your gift.

You will get three patterns, two of each pattern for six total tags.
When I printed, I unselected the “fit to page” option on my printer settings and it fit perfectly for printing. Print on card stock so the tag is stronger and won’t rip.
Grab your copy of cacti tags below (these will not have the watermark on them).
If the widget below isn’t working you can also grab the tags here: Cactus “Sticking with Me” Tags.

These tags would also be super cute tied to a succulent or cactus as a gift as well! 🙂

Another gift that we gave Miss P’s teacher last year was this set of stickers and an apple shape set of Post-It Notes.

"Sticking with Me" Teacher Appreciation Gift and Printable Tag

I knew she would need to write little notes so the apple Post-It notes were so cute and perfect for that and what teacher doesn’t love stickers? I bought some cute smiley faced stickers that she could place on student’s work or just hand out to the kids for doing good work.

And since both items had some sort of stickiness factor to them, I made this tag to go with it.
Teachers work hard and have to stick by their student’s sides in order to help them grow and learn so I wanted the note and gift to mention that.

"Sticking with Me" Teacher Appreciation Gift and Printable Tag

You can download the tag to print to use for your gifts below. If the widget isn’t working, you can also find the tag here: “Sticking by Me Tag”

Here are a few other teacher appreciation gift ideas that I’ve shared to help you out.
