Anniversary Flowers

Hi all!
Are you staying warm?
We finally got some snow and it has been COLD and WINDY! If the wind was blowing so bad I don’t think it would feel so bad out.

But anyways…
Last Thursday was our 4 year wedding Anniversary and I was lucky enough to receive not one bouquet but two from Travis.

If you have been following me for a while now, then you already know when I get some flowers, I have a photo session with them.

The first bouquet was a gorgeous mix of two-toned orange roses, yellow mums, small lilies, and snap dragons.

And then he also got me a bouquet of red roses because he told me “Every woman deserved red roses on an anniversary.”

So that was a few of my flower pictures but I wanted to share a few of my favorite shots.
We just bought a new large lens for our camera and also a set of Macro lenses that attach straight to our 18-55 mm lens so I pulled those out and was in HEAVEN!

Travis keeps telling me I need to sell my photos.
Maybe now that I have these Macro lenses I will consider it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I love this pretty, pretty post. How sweet of your husband. ๐Ÿ™‚

You would think growing up in Western New York I would know how to deal with snow! Living in FL for 8 years and Hawaii for 3 has me all backwards. ๐Ÿ™‚ We should plan something – That would be fantastic! The kids are in daycare on base on Friday mornings. We should plan something. ๐Ÿ™‚

Beautiful flowers and belated Happy Anniversary. Your macro shots are gorgeous. I have just tried my hand at macro and posted at Tracy's, but have a lot to learn as far as macro is concerned.

Hi Allison, your photos are lovely. I love the one of the mum. How sweet of your hubby to get you 2 bouquets. He sounds like a keeper to me.

When you said you have a macro that attaches to your lens did you mean a close up filter? Sometime they are called diopters. They have different strengths. I was thinking of getting one before I plunk down money on a macro. Just wondering if that was it and which strength you might have.
