Build Your Own Collage Frame- Super Easy!

I recently had the chance to play with some awesome products from Martha Stewart crafts.
Here is what I came up with and it is super easy to do!
It would make a great Mother’s Day gift filled with some fun family pictures.
I received a box full of goodies with these items inside.
I looked around to see what items I had on hand to use and then figured out which products I wanted to use.
Here is how I created this collage frame.
-Wooden Frames
-Paint- I used the Pearl paint and one Metallic
-Adhesive stencils
-Foam Pounce Brushes (forgot to add in pic.)

I started by giving my frames 2 coats of paint.
I decided to paint one orange to represent my sister, the center blue one represents my mom, and the pink one represents me.
Once the paint was nice and dry, I chose which stencil I wanted to use and placed it around the edge of the picture hole.
I then used the foam pounce brush to add the silver metallic paint to the stencil.
I decided to add a small stencil to the corner area of the frame for a little something extra.
I continued around the whole frame and proceeded to stencil the other two stencils the same way.
After the paint and stenciled area were nice and dry, I pulled out these invis-a-link hooks to connect my frames together.
I used four links total- 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom of the frames.
And now I have the perfect collage frame!
So I was totally going to add pictures of my mom, sister, and I but I am so embarrassed to say I had no good recent ones printed already! 🙁 Guess I need to get on that but this way, my mom can decide what pictures she would like to add into the frames herself.
You can use the frames horizontally or vertical as well!
Whatever works for you.
