I have seen a couple different versions of this floating around blogland for a while now and decided to finally make one. So here is my version. I warn you it is picture heavy, but what good tutorial isn’t?! 🙂 And I hope you understand it. I had trouble wording it all so if you have any questions, PLEASE feel free to email me. My email is listed in my profile.
You will need:

-Wreath Form
-Coffee filters (I bought a pack of 200)
-Ribbon
-Chalk or ink
-Glue gun and glue stick (I used a low temp gun so my fingers didn’t burn.)
How to:

And there you have it! I hope you enjoy my wreath as much as I do. It took a lot of time to create but if you don’t chalk the edges, it will be A LOT faster. If you create your own wreath using my tutorial, I would love for you to share it with me.

July 8, 2010 at 1:25 pmBeautiful!!! love it, fab. job. Isn't it great tinting the edges or tips. I did that with my coffee filter fire cracker topiary… and my patriotic garland. I painted the tips too. It adds so much. Have a good one. Jenn

July 9, 2010 at 2:51 amTempted to try it, but oh my! That is a lot of coffee filter flowers! It looks so beautiful though, I may just have to break down and do it! You should check out the giveaway from Heidi and tell her I sent you! Then we both get entered! You can get to her blog on my blog. I wonder if the chalk would last on my front door??? Hmmmmm…..

July 9, 2010 at 9:57 pmVery striking! I wonder what other ways you could treat the edges to look antiqued, or glittered for Christmas, or red glitter for Valentine's? How cute would this be with the color theme for a wedding or baby shower? Love it!

April 2, 2012 at 8:57 pmHi what kind of chalk did you use? It doesn't look like sidewalk chalk (which is all I have laying around my house at the moment 🙂 )
Thanks!

April 3, 2012 at 1:30 amI actually used ink, like the kind you would use in scrapbooking or with other paper projects. You can find them near the scrapbook stuff or in the ink/stamp aisle in craft stores.
