Howdy everyone!!
I shared this craft over Sew Woodsy a few weeks ago and wanted to share it here with all of you today.
You got a glimpse of this craft in my Spring Mantle Decor post and wanted to share how easy it was to create.
Seriously, this is so easy and took me like 15 mins to make.
Here is how you can make one for youself.
Supplies:
-Shape n’ Tape Packs (I found these at JoAnn Fabric and Craft Store. I bought this multi-colored pack and then a pack of all yellow and white designs.)
-Twine
-Glue Gun
The tape comes in sheets. I started by cutting strips out of each sheet in the width I wanted my pennants to be.
I then cut out the triangle to make them more flag like.
You could probably use a cutting machine to do this as well but I just decided to free hand it.
I also decided to just glue the twine onto the back of the pennants.
Since this is sticky tape, you could always peel back the backing and fold it over the twine if you would like. I used the glue because I didn’t make my pennants long enough to fold it over.
And boom… you are done!!
I told ya it was fast and easy!
I made two small banners and added them to the frames I have above my mantle for a pop of color in my spring decor.
These would be cute as a longer garland along the whole mantle as well!
