As winter rolls in, I love the warmth of candles to welcome the season. Rich, woodsy flavors always feel so festive when the weather turns cool. Simple as they are, candles create a lovely, soft light that can transform any mood.
There’s only one problem: I have a toddler, and toddler + fire = not a great idea.
But they are simple, white pillar candles; not particularly decorative in their own right. If I add a few elements from my home, I can elevate them into fresh, new decor: perfect for a holiday centerpiece or seasonal mantel… and no need to worry about my materials being flammable – the sky’s the limit.
