Family Scrabble Display from Sweet C’s Designs

Courtney from Sweet C’s Designs is here today with a great post for all of you.
I know you’ll love it!
I’m Courtney from Sweet C’s Designs and I am so excited to be over here at A Glimpse Inside to share one of my favorite crafts with you- my family scrabble display!
This is an easy to make craft that can be displayed in any room, and also makes a great gift for families that are expanding.
I have seen a few friends do an adorable family scrabble tile display on Facebook, and was dying to make one for my family!

Ideally, the kids names would join both the parent’s names on the display- didn’t quite work for us, but I still love it.

And my husband thought it was adorable. I don’t get a lot of those- he usually thinks I am a bit silly. 🙂

Here’s how I made it:
You’ll need:
-scrabble tiles to spell out your names

-a picture frame, minus the glass

-hot glue

Place the burlap down on the picture frame’s backing, and close the frame. I didn’t glue this onto the frame, and left just a little burlap to hang out around the sides so I could adjust it to lay it flat with no bubbles.
Next, lay out your design on the burlap.
One by one, hot glue the tiles to the burlap.
Let dry, and it’s ready to hang!
