Travis and I hit up a flea market near our house this past weekend. I think it is actually called “The Most Awesome Flea Market in the World.” Now, I wouldn’t go THAT far but it is a pretty good flea market. Here is what we came home with:

This is a small wooden box that folds open to all sorts of little things. We weren’t exactly sure what it all was until we got it home and took a closer look and saw on one of the pieces it says “Singer” so we are assuming they are old sewing machine parts. I think hubby paid $10 for it but I can’t remember for sure.
I walked away with these fabulous Ball jars. I got the small one for $3 and the two large ones with their original lids for 2 for $8. Not sure exactly what I am going to do with them yet but I just wanted them! haha

This is an old wheel cap. Hubby bought it for $9.

And here was Travis’ big score of the trip. We got 5 of the crates at one stand 5 for $20 and then the top one and one of the pepsi crate at another booth for $10. Obviously better deal at the 5 for $20 booth but we already bought the first 2 before we came to the other booth. All well! But
click here to see what Travis did with the crates if you missed my post from yesterday.
Hope you have a fabulous weekend, especially if you go thrifting!
I will be sharing a tutorial tomorrow about how to make the wreath from my giveaway.

July 20, 2010 at 1:40 amWow Wow on the crates! I have been searching around here and the cheapest I found was $35 for ONE. I didn't buy it at that price, but I'm still looking. And drooling over yours.
