Friday Finds

So last week I told everyone about these awesome stores Travis and I discovered up in Louisville and well… we went back this past weekend! We just had too! Saturday, Dixie Trading Post was having a sidewalk sale- so a garage sale on top of all the good deals inside! HELLO- CAN’T MISS THAT! Then Sunday, we headed back to Tickled Pink because apparently Sundays are the BEST day to go and OH, IT WAS! 🙂 So here are our fabulous finds from this past weekend. I can’t wait to use everything and actually be able to post what we did with them instead of random pictures of the objects. Travis has been out of town this week for work and I need some of his manual labor with some of this stuff. What else are husbands good for anyways?! lol
Here are those fabulous windows I was telling you about last Friday. They are actually different from the ones there last week and I LOVE these SO MUCH MORE! They are white on one side and this blue/gray on the other. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the blue side! Got these 2 for $5.00 @ Tickled Pink. YEAH!! Not sure where they are going yet b/c of the next item we purchased took their spot.

Bought these white shutters as well. $4.99 a piece also at Tickled Pink. Couldn’t pass them up. Loved how worn they were. I have BIG plans for these that I am super excited about. They will end up in our living room once Travis get home (enter manual labor here.)

Up Close shot of the shutters.

Chandelier that Travis picked up for his room. It doesn’t look like this anymore but it isn’t fully finished yet so you will have to wait to see what it looks like now a little longer. Found at Tickled Pink- can’t remember the price but wasn’t very much.

White Candle Stick Holders from Tickled Pink for $3.99. I LOVED these as soon as I saw them. Love the details, love the shape, I even love the white but I think I would LOVE it even more in aqua! What do you guys think?

I can’t remember what this is- Old Red Traffic Light? Emergency light? Can’t remember. Bought for Travis’s room at Dixie Trading Post.

48 Star American Flag bought at Dixie Trading Post with the red light- both for $40. The Flag is really cool and worn but NO rips. The crate and metal piece (which is an old trivet) are from Tickled Pink- $4.99 and $1.

I wanted to share what I did with one of my finds from last weekend- The little white cage. Had some small fake flowers in it which were pretty dark. I wanted it brighter so I bought some new flowers. I decided to leave the cage white and I love it now. It is on top of our hutch in the dining room.

So those are my finds for this week. I will be linking up to Debbie’s Garage Salen Party @ Debbie Doos again this week.

Thank for the comment. If I had those shutters and windows they would have gone on top of my kitchen cabinets too. The candlesticks are amazing, you are right aqua would be great, but I love the simplicity of the white. Christmas with red candles!

That store certainly has the correct name of Tickled Pink because I can tell you were tickled pink. I love those shutters. Can't wait to see what you do with them. What a super duper price, too. At the flea market they want over fifty dollars for one chippy shutter. You hit the jackpot!! Thanks for coming by.

Great finds. Love those candlestick holders. I think I'd keep them white. You could use aqua candles.
