This was a fun weekend in our household.
Not only was it Halloween but we celebrated Miss S turning 2.
Halloween was a lot of fun this year with both girls fully able to participate.
We started the day by finally carving our pumpkins then after nap they got all dressed up and we started trick or treating about 430. Trick or Treating starts early here in our little town which was so nice because we were then home early enough for dinner. And does our town Trick or Treat!! I have never seen so many people out and about trick or treating. It was so fun!
The girls got all dressed up as an adorable little Monster and Miss P was her favorite princess, Cinderella.
Of course Miss P went right up saying Trick or Treat like it was nothing but I was worries Miss S would freak out with all the costumes and strangers but I think once she realized people were giving her candy, she was all about it too!
That night we put Miss S to bed for the last time as a one year old and she woke up as a two year old! So crazy to think that it was already two years ago she made her grand debut on our living room floor. (New here, check out her birth story here.)
I decorated the downstairs with streamers, balloons, and a sign and decorate her bedroom door and threw balloons on her bedroom floor as well.
She was super excited about everything but I think I could have just placed balloons everywhere on the floor and she would have been in Heaven.
My parents came up for a visit and my mom created her a super cute birthday shirt to wear.
She was a happy birthday girl, for most of the day. lol
She was really into opening presents this year too which was so fun to watch! She would pull out all the tissue paper and get so excited when she looked in and got her first glance of her present.
Makes me excited for Christmas!
And then after all the gifts were opened, the rest of the morning was spent playing and checking out all the new fun things.
And to end the day we ate some pizza and celebrated with a birthday cake which she was also excited about the new crown and scepter toys she got to play with after.
It was a great weekend making memories together.
One last thing, today is the last day to apply to become a contributor here on AGI!
