Welcome to the Final week of the Holiday Open House.

This week it is all about your outdoor decor!
Show me all those LIGHTS!!

Before I show you our decor, I just want to take a moment and thank all of you that have linked up your holiday decor the last couple of weeks! I’ve had so much fun looking through all the links and seeing how everyone decorates.

Now… here is how we decorated this year.

This is the first Christmas we have lived in this house and we normally line the whole house with lights but we had to change things up a bit and do a little less this year. I still like the way it came out though.

Welcome to our house.
This is the view of the porch and it is the only thing decorated on our house outside this year.

How about we take a closer look…On our front door, I have this wreath that I made quite a few years ago.
It was just a plain wreath that I glued different pine needles into for more texture. Then, glued pine cones and glittery berries to it. I also had long sticks but over the years they have all broken. And then just topped it off with a big silver glittery bow. It’s starting to look a little rough so it made need a redo next year.

Under our porch light I hung this metal and twig star. I bought this at Big Lots, 2 years ago I believe. I normally hang it inside but thought it would look pretty on the porch. I love that it is filled with the berries, ornaments, pine cones, and needles.

All the ladies went to Michael’s after our Thanksgiving meal and bought these little pine trees for $14. We just staggered them onto our steps and put a screw in the base so they wouldn’t fall.

I bought this ribbon from Old Time Pottery before Thanksgiving for $1. I loved it so I used it for some bows on the columns of the railings at the end of the garland that wraps our railings.

Have to have a reindeer garden flag for the holidays! 🙂

And here is out porch at night.
We are trying to transition over to LED lights so we bought a few this year and those are the SUPER bright icicle lights and lights on our porch column.

Railings wrapped in garland.

And my cute little tree all lit up!

We kept it pretty simple this year but I like how it turned out.

So how do you decorate your house?!

1.) Link up to your specific post not your blog in general. (I will have to delete any that do not follow the criteria.)
2.) Please ONLY link up your Holiday Decorations. This is not a normal linky party sharing recipes, crafts, etc.
3.) It would be fabulous if you add my Holiday Open House button on your blog somewhere so others can join in on the fun!
4.) Link back to this post somewhere on your blog or at the end of your post.
5.) And most importantly… HAVE FUN!! Visit and tour some of the other links and leave a comment.
