I took command of my space and won a contest on Facebook from the 3M Command Brand company a couple weeks ago.
You know all those command strips and hooks you can use on your walls or other places without doing damage to the wall.
All I did was submit a couple pictures into their contest on Facebook and I was picked as the week 2 winner.
You can totally be a winner too!!
All you have to do is use some of the Command products and enter a picture into the contest on Facebook. Easy as that! They are picking a new every week through December 25th so there is plenty of time to still win!
You want to see what I won?! Oh, you know you do!! 🙂
First, I guess I should tell you what I submitted.
I submitted my shutter project since I hung everything on my shutters with small command hooks.
I was notified that I won and there was a couple steps all in all to get my winnings.
I first had to get some papers notarized and mailed back to New York within a few days.
Once they received the paper work, I got the first part of my prize.
A fabulous box full of goodies!
I opened the main box and saw this tote. I think I was just as excited for this fabulous tote along with everything in it. Isn’t it fabulous?!
I won a Flip video camera. I was so pumped about this because we have talked about getting one for a while now. I also got the power adapter and the tripod for the camera. Awesome!
My fabulous new tiny video camera!
And also these different hooks. The first is for hanging strings of lights, the middle is for tidying up messy electronic cords, and the last it to hang pictures that have hanging wires on the back.
How fabulous is all that?!
But wait… There’s more!!
I ALSO won $500!!!!
But in order to receive my $500, I had to use my new Flip Video Camera and make a video of how I used Command products and submit it to them within 7 days of receiving the camera.
Below is my video.
(Hopefully it works! It’s my first time adding video into my posts.)
PLEASE be nice and don’t make fun! I know it isn’t great.
I am SO not one to talk in front of a camera. Travis recorded me and I think I created about 10 videos of outtakes before we finally got the final result. I hate it but it was fun all at the same time.
I just received my $500 in the mail so I thought it was about time to finally post about my win.
So, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! GO SUBMIT A PROJECT!!
P.S I didn’t have to post about this contest. I just wanted to share with all of you.
