I shared this tutorial on
Mom It Forward right before Valentine’s Day and thought I better share it with you guys too!
I don’t have much St. Patrick’s Day decor. We aren’t Irish and so I have never thought about decorating for it.
I bought this small wreath stand on clearance after Christmas and thought why not finally put it to good use by creating a small St. Patty’s Day wreath for it.
So away I went to get creating!
It was super easy to creat as well, which is always great!
Here’s how I did it.
-Yarn
-Felt
-Ribbon
-Twine
-Faric Marker
-Hot Glue Gun
Wrap the wreath form with the green yarn.
I then free handed some four leaf clovers on felt with a fabric marker.
I cut out the clovers and then glued them onto the wreath slightly overlapping them.
I took some yellow ribbon and made small loops with them and glued them next to the clovers for a little more embellishment.
I took out some felt in rainbow colors, (think to yourself ROYGBIV) and cut out little pennants and glued them onto some twine to make a banner.
Using my fabric marker, I wrote the word “LUCKY” on the banner.
Then, I tied the banner onto the wreath.
Tied some yellow ribbon on the top to hang it on my wreath hanger and it is all set for St. Patty’s Day!
I sure am hoping it will bring me a little luck!
