Miss P the Preschooler!

Miss P started Preschool last Tuesday.
She only goes two days a week from 830 to 1130 but I know it will be so good for her.
She has only been 3 times so far but she seems to be really enjoying it!
Of course, I had to take pictures on her first day of preschooler.
I started by taking a picture of our new preschooler before I had to wake her up.
She wasn’t too sure about getting up until I said she had to get up so she could go to school. She promptly opened her eyes, started to sit up and said “I’m coming.” as she was crawling out of bed.
I made up this sign for her to hold and tried to get pictures of her and as you can see, she wasn’t too keen on the situation.

In fact, she cried and screamed like crazy.
She is definitely in a stage where she hates pictures. As soon as she saw me with the camera she freaked so I had to attempt pictures with my phone and distract her. Still didn’t go over so well.
My mom made her this cute shirt so I thought it would be cute for her to wear on her first day.
All ready to go with her backpack!
She loves carrying or wearing her backpack.
And luckily, by the time we got to school, she was all excited and ready to start the day!
She has done great at school!
The only thing she isn’t too keen on is the fact that we have to drop her off in a big auditorium and she doesn’t like it. She doesn’t want to sit without us and just wants to go straight to her classroom.
But once she gets inside her classroom, she could care less we are even there!
The first day, she walked right in, grabbed a seat, and never looked back and Travis and I and that pretty much has remained the situation.
I am so glad that she has been so easy to drop off especially after watching all the other kiddos that cry and scream for their moms as they try to leave.
I sure hope that she continues to enjoy school and learns a lot while there!
