Do you remember my monogram plaque from my gallery wall reveal last week?
I didn’t want ALL frames on my wall and wanted some form of a monogram for our last name and this idea came to mind.
It is such a simple project and doesn’t take much time at all either. It is similar to how I created the Stenciled Initial Cavases for P’s room.
Here is the how to:
Supplies:
-Wooden Plaque
– Wood letter
-Stencil
-Paint
Paint the wooden plaque the color of your choosing.
I just put one coat of white on it and didn’t mind if it wasn’t a solid coat.
I then took my stencil and placed it every so often around my plaque.
I did one whole stencil then let the stencil hang off the edge so only half the stencil was left on the plaque.
While my plaque was drying, I painted my wooden letter gray.
Once my stencil paint was dry, I took out some of my Stickles in yellow and put it on all the petals for a little glitter and added texture.
It was just what it needed.
I then just glued the wooden M to the plaque and BAM… it’s done!
Hung it up on the wall using Command Picture Hanging Strips and it fit right in!
Linking to some of these parties.
