Hi, it’s Rachel from Adventures of a DIY Mom. I love to bake and cook for my family and I love to try new recipes. That means I’m in the kitchen a lot. I like my kitchen to be functional, but I also like things to be pretty.
I recently found some new spice jars and bought them on a whim. They fit perfectly in the spice rack I built and recently updated with blue paint.
Because of the shape of the jars, I am able to fit more spices on the shelf than I could previously. I keep my most used spices on this shelf, but I also keep plenty more in the cupboard above.
I decided to add a vinyl labels to the jars to give them a cute custom feel. The white circle stickers that came with the jars just weren’t gonna cut it for me.
I cut the labels out with my Silhouette. I used a font called Champagne and Limousines for the lettering, adding curvy parentheses around the words. I used all lowercase letters. I made them to match my flour and sugar jars and other containers in my kitchen.
If you are new to vinyl crafting, see my tutorial on how to apply vinyl to your projects.
Sometimes it’s the little things that make a big difference for me. Those little jars make cooking even more enjoyable somehow!
