I’m on a wreath making kick.
I made my Spring Chevron Wreath last week and I already made one for summer as well.
I was just too excited when I found everything to make it, I just couldn’t wait! 🙂
It is so simple to do and real fast too!
Here’s how to do it!
Supplies:
-Grape vine wreath
-Canvas flowers (I bought mine at Hobby Lobby but you can make them too.)
-Buttons
-Moss Ribbon or real moss
-Stickles
-Wired Ribbon
To start, I hot glued the buttons to the center of the flowers.
I wanted a little sparkle in my wreath, so I pulled out my stickles in coodinating colors to my buttons.
I added the stickles in a thick layer on the buttons.
Let dry.
While the Stickles was drying, I pulled out my moss ribbon and cut stripes.
I then cut a little off the moss here and there so they weren’t perfect rectancles.
I glued on the moss overlapping a little as I went for a little added texture.
I then glued the flowers onto the mossy area.
I cut a piece of the wired ribbon and wrapped the top of the wreath.
I then cut a long piece and inserted it behind the first piece I wrapped around the wreath.
I tied and fluffed a bow to my liking.
And that’s it!
Told you it was fast!
I really like how it came out and can’t wait to hang it on my front door!
I know it will look great!
