Miss S’ Owl Birthday Party Decorations

Yesterday I shared pictures of Miss S’ first birthday party
Today, I want to share with you all the details of the party itself.
I shared this yesterday but wanted to include it in this post as well.
These are the invitations I created for her party.
I wanted to do an owl theme. Thought it would be cute for a first birthday in November but wanted to keep the colors girly and bright.
Since we would be in TN for the party, I had to think about my decorations way in advance to make everything to mail to my parents house or take with us. Then I had to figure out where everything would go.
Guests were greeted with this owl wreath holding a chalkboard saying “Sadie is One!” on the front door.
My parents have this buffet by their front door so it was the perfect place to add a basket full of the favors and some pictures of Miss S.

I found the little chicken wire frame at JoAnns and painted it and added the small wooden owls to it.
Placed some pictures of Miss S on it with mini clothes pins and then a sign saying thanks for coming and asking guests to fill out their address on an envelope.
I created these little owl pillow boxes using my Silhouette Cameo and filled them full of candy for favors.
Looking into the party now… you may recognize the garland.
I used the scallop garland I created for Miss P’s 2nd birthday and garland between all the arches in my parents house.
Here is a shot of the living room area.
We removed all the furniture to make way for tables and chairs.
I then layered some colored table clothes with a clear table cloth with white dots on top.
I love how they came out!
I placed different vases with branches in them on each table and put some little owls I created on them.
Here is how I decorated the mantle.
I created this banner that says “Look Whooo’s One” and placed that on the mantle along with some tissue paper pom pom garland that I bought at Hobby Lobby and then also layered a string of the scallop garland with it as well.
One the left side of the mantle I placed pictures of Miss S at different ages along with a little wooden owl I painted and a lantern ball.
In the center of the mantle, was the birthday stat board I created.
I had my dad cut out the owl shape out of some thin wood and then I painted it white.
Once that paint was dry, I took gray paint and added the details of the owl onto the white before I applied all the information that I cut out of vinyl.
Then on the right side of the mantle I placed another picture, a glass owl I found at Hobby Lobby and another lantern ball.
My dad also cut the one out of wood and I painted this white as well and then used Stickles to add the dots to it in an ombre effect.
Next to the mantle is another buffet that I placed a bunch of balloons on along with some other decorations.
On the buffet, I placed another glass owl from Hobby Lobby, some more pictures and then the large chalkboard I created for Miss P’s birthday and decorated it with an owl theme.
I also placed some props for the photo booth in a small white container that I found in the dollar section at Target.
Here is a closer look at the little owls I created to place in the branches on the tables.
We left my parents large tree in the living room and I decorated this wooden owl with paint and scrapbook paper and propped him up in the tree.
Now onto the kitchen area…
On the high chair, I placed another banner that I created on it and then just placed Miss S’ party hat on it as well.
Here is the dessert table.
I again layered the table clothes and then used this table tutu my mom created for Miss P’s baby shower. I love that she still had it and it worked perfectly!
Placed some cake stands, another vase with a branch, and another picture and it was set.
This was my favorite part of the party!
I created the cake stands using wood slices and a base. You can find the wood slices at most craft stores, but I bought these at JoAnns. I bought the wood bases at Michaels. Just glued them together and they were ready to go! For the taller stand, I just placed two of the bases on top of each other.
I placed another frame with a picture of Miss S on the table with a frame with a design I created to match the invitations. Then just put some painted wood owls near them as well.
Here is a closer look at the birthday print I created for the cake table.
And now here is the dessert table with Miss S’adorable smash cake and cupcakes.
A family friend made the cupcakes and cake and they turned out so great!
I chose to do chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and then some of the cupcakes had flowers on top and the others had an owl with a branch on them.
I just ADORE this smash cake! I am so excited how it turned out and it was pretty darn tasty as well!
The table was so fun and colorful once the cakes were on it!
I designed some water bottle covers to coordinate with the invitations as well.
Here is a better shot of the water bottle covers.
Here is a shot of the living room from the kitchen.
And to round out the decorations, is the kitchen.
I just placed a polka dot table cloth on the island and another vase with the owls.
All the food was placed on the island, buffet style.
Forgot to take a picture with the food but we served BBQ, potato salad, pasta salad, and fruit salad.
Then for the drinks, which I also forgot to take a picture of, I served the water bottles, made some sweet tea and then some strawberry lemonade. I used my mason jars with lids and straws for the cups.
And that’s it!
I am pretty excited with how it all turned out since I was trying to plan everything from CO!
Stay tuned for a couple fun tutorials of items I created for the party.

Miss S is 1!!

I can’t believe that my baby girl is 1 years old!
This year has flown by! I feel like it was only a few months ago, that I woke up feeling contractions and gave birth to her less than 2 hours later! (If you missed her wild birth story, you can check it out on her introduction post.)
We had a great day celebrating Miss S in TN with family and friends.
This post is just a rundown of the party and tomorrow I will share her party decorations.
Here is the invitation I designed for the occasion.
I wanted to go with an owl theme since I thought it would be fun for a November birthday, but then wanted it to fun, girly colors.
All the party decor went with this color scheme.
We started the party by greeting all the guests.
Everyone was so excited to finally meet Miss S!
We then had some food… BBQ, potato salad, pasta salad, and fruit salad- all homemade.

After we ate, we decided to open gifts before doing cake.
She wasn’t too sure about what to do with presents but she loved seeing all her toys, books, and clothes.
Speaking of clothes- I forgot to take a picture of her in the adorable dress my mom made for her to wear. You can see it best in these pictures.
Then it was time for cake!
Her smash cake was this adorable owl cake and I thought she would be ALL about eating it.
NOPE!!! She is probably the cleanest one year out there after eating that cake.
She barely ate any of it and didn’t even really smash it. I tried to get her to eat it. Miss P tried to get her to eat it. In fact, I think all the grandparents did too, but she just didn’t want it.
Maybe she thought it was too cute to mess up! lol
She was a happy little girl the whole time.
Here she is wearing the party hat I created for her and giggling at her Aunt Rissa.
Of course, it was so fabulous seeing all my friends that came to meet and celebrate Miss S.
It was also great meeting all my friends new babies as well!
Her party was a lot of fun!
Everyone just loved meeting Miss S!
I think she was a little overwhelmed at first but she was having a good time too!
Tomorrow, I will be back with all the details of the party itself!

12 Month Adventures of Miss S

You guys, Miss S officially turned 1 on Saturday. 🙁
I tried to slow time down and it just wouldn’t listen and my baby isn’t a baby anymore but she will always be my baby girl.
I can’t believe that this past year flew by as fast as it did.
Before I get into ALL the details of her first birthday, I want to share her last month of babyhood adventures before entering into the world of toddler.
On her birthday, we had to do her monthly photo shoot to round out the year.
Had to change up our photo location since we are in TN at my parent’s house.
Probably a good thing this is our last shoot- she is getting hard to photograph!
She suddenly discovered Oscar’s cage and the fact that she could get in it to play.
She loves getting in there, talking, and opening and closing the door.

Her hair is finally getting long enough to get bed head. Still a ways to go before it is anything like Miss P’s but it is definitely getting longer and thicker!
She sported her Halloween costume for a little photo shoot with big sis before heading out for a fun night at Boo at the Zoo.
She had a fun night at Boo at the Zoo with her boyfriend, Mr. J, seeing all the animals, and feeding the giraffes.
She found my glitter pumpkins in my autumn decorations and will go over and play with them.
She even puts them in her mouth and is COVERED in glitter after!
Notice her smile as well?! That super cute, tight eyes, huge smile started this past month too.
Before heading to TN, we celebrate her birthday with daddy along with his birthday since we would all be apart for both since he is off training.
Took her a few to get into present opening but she enjoyed her toy and clothes when they were opened.
And what’s a birthday celebration without some cake?!
I made her a mini birthday cake to celebrate with daddy and I think she like it! 🙂
And lastly to round out her month, she got to celebrate her first Halloween AND finally got to meet her cousins for the first time!
It was super cold, windy night so she didn’t actually go trick or treating but she sure looked cute all dressed up.
It was so great seeing all the kids together as well.

Some other fun facts:
-She still isn’t walking but is slowly starting to cruise around the furniture. Doesn’t do it all the often but she will if she really wants something on a table.
-Her two top teeth have popped through so now she has 4.
-She made it to the 16 lb mark before her 1st birthday, barely, but she made it!
-Even though she is petite, she LOVES to eat everything!

I still can’t believe she is one!
I will be back with a party recap and some fun posts of what I created for the party as well so stay tuned!!

The 11 Month Adventures of Miss S

How is my baby girl already 11 mths old?!
I definitely don’t feel like she should be this old. I am planning her first birthday party which just blows my mind! Now I know why people miss their babies and want another one… though that won’t be happening! lol
Miss S had a pretty eventful month so here are her adventures recapped.
Her monthly photo shoot is getting fun.
She is so active and isn’t too keen on sitting still for good pictures these days but I managed to snag a few.
We have been soaking up that last little bit of warm weather playing outside.
She was super excited to play with the large ball.

She was super happy and smiling showing off her two bottom teeth that finally popped through.
She tried spaghetti for the first time and she clearly enjoyed it!
She even had her first taste of a McDonald’s fry and she kept begging for more.
She started pulling up on all the furniture AND is finally crawling on her knees as well!!
She still loves bath time and splashing! She makes a huge watery mess!
She also still loves to sleep with her face while she sleeps. I felt so bad when I found her asleep in the photo above because she fell asleep while she was playing in her crib while I was in the shower and had to wake her up to go get Miss P from preschool.
She is starting to pull out toys for herself now.
She likes when big sis goes to bed and it is time for her to hang out with us all by herself.
We still put her on her boppy lounger to drink her bottle and Patton LOVES laying on the boppy so much that he can’t wait for her to even get off before he goes up and tries to lay on it, thus forcing her to cuddle.
Daddy loves to dress her up in Broncos gear to watch and cheer during the games.
We ended the month be taking her first trip to the pumpkin patch.
The sheep and the goats loved checking out her shoes, though she was not too sure about ANY of the animals.
She had a blast riding the bull tire swing, tire swing, and the hay ride at the pumpkin patch.
And a trip to the pumpkin patch wouldn’t be complete without a photo shoot with the pumpkins!
She loves to beg for ice cream when daddy eats it and of course he gives in.
And she FINALLY hit 15 lbs! YAY!! Hopefully, she’ll keep gaining weight.
We’ll see what her last month before turning 1 has in store as it evolves but some fun things are already planned. 🙂

The 10 Mth Adventures of Miss S

Hi everyone!
Sorry it was quite here yesterday. I had to quickly go out of town last week after my Grandpa passed away so I was away in MI for his funeral and didn’t get home until late Sunday night.
But I am here today with a fun recap post of all the fun things going on in Miss S’ world.
She is officially 10 mths old… SO CRAZY!!!
I don’t know how it is possible that I need to start thinking about her 1 yr birthday. EEK!
Here is what she got into.
Monthly photo shoot like we always do!
She is getting VERY active and is hard to take pictures of these days as she is wanting to crawl away or move around. Her little personality is really shining through these days as well so it is fun to see her face in all the pictures.
We took her 9 mth photos as well at the beginning of the month.
Here are some of the proofs from our session. I love them all!

She has still been trying some new foods.
She LOVES Avocado! LOVES IT!
She was pretty excited when she had a full tray of food to eat .
And even though she doesn’t look too thrilled, she likes bananas too. I was taking a little too long to feed her and she was MAD!!
She has also tried strawberries, blueberries, plums, pineapple, and many other things. So far, she pretty much loves everything!
She enjoys playing with her big sis and by herself.
The top pic, they were just relaxing with their baby dolls watching tv.
And like any girl, she loves jewelry.
She is still a big Army crawler and a SUPER fast one at that!!
I keep thinking she’ll get on her knees any day but she still just prefers to drop to her belly and go.
And again, she is so fast! I can put her back in the family room and before I know it, she is right next to me in the kitchen again!
We make her workout with push-ups and planking… just kidding!!
She just LOVES to do push-ups and planking!
You can find her like this numerous times. She’ll even rock back and forth a little. She puts me to shame! lol And her abs are rockin’!
She is starting to pull up on things now. This one shot was right in the beginning of her doing it but now she pulls up on Miss P’s chair, the couch, and a few other things.
And she still enjoys her sippy cup!
Travis had a 4 day weekend for Labor Day so we had a big fun weekend.
We started by going to the zoo and she got to feed the giraffes for the first time. I don’t think she knew what to think about them but she didn’t freak out at all.
Then, the next night we headed to the Hot Air Balloon Festival and it was so fun.
She just took them all in and watched them light up. Again not freaking out at all.
A few other fun things…
-She is figuring out going up the stairs. I found her on them one day when I ran upstairs to get something. I wasn’t up long and she was already on the 3rd step! Time to put the baby gate back up!
-She is in a scrunching face/nose and breathing hard through her nose phase. It is so cute!
-Still loves to talk.
-Loves to race to get the dog food while he eats and try a few bites.

This coming month will bring some fun things, in fact, it already has! So stay tuned!!

The 9 Month Adventures of Miss S

You guys!!!
Miss S just turned 9 mths old, well 2 weeks ago, but how is this possible!?
How is it that I should already be thinking about her 1st birthday that is only 2 1/2 months away at this point?! Time it flying and I don’t like it! Luckily, she is a petite little thing so she’ll be my little baby a little longer!
Here is a recap of her 9 mth adventures.
Monthly photo shoot like we always do on her monthly birthday.
They sure are getting interesting as she gets more personality and mobile.
She got to experience her first 4th of July.
She sure looked cute sporting her Red, White, and Blue but it got chilly and raining so we had to watch the fireworks from the car, which I am sure was fine with her.

She got to experience her 2nd camping trip and this time, it was tent camping as we went to The Great Sand Dunes National Park.
She had fun at the campsite but I guess she wasn’t too impressed with the Dunes themselves since she was out like a light!
She tried all sorts of new foods too!
Carrots… by the pics she hated it. First bite she was NOT impressed but she finished the bowl and will eat them just fine now.
Started fruits with Pears… I think she was excited for something sweet.
Homemade applesauce was enjoyed.
Peaches… not sure she liked them at first but she took to them.
Zucchini- This was her first time eating and picking up non pureed food. She struggled a little but is getting better.
Getting her used to the water by laying her down in the bath tub.
Experienced her first Renaissance Fair. She, yet again, wasn’t too impressed with the tournament but she did wake up to enjoy a ride before we left.
She started Crawling!!
She is still Army crawling but she is getting super fast and I have to keep my eye on her!
I forgot what it was like having a new crawler and dog bowls on the ground… yeeeeeah.
She had some fun times playing.
Having tea parties and picnics with Miss P.
She hung out in some wildflowers for some photos.
Has had some snuggles from Miss P but also has to put up with her roughness!
And Patton sure loves her! He comes and says hi to her any time she is on the ground.
She also got to play in some water over by Helen Hunt Falls in town and tour the Olympic Training Center.
And I am excited to say that she FINALLY hit the 14 lb. mark!! 14 lbs 8.5 oz to be exact! Yeah!!
She was only a half pound from gaining a full pound this month. That’s big for this girl!
She is still a long, skinny little thing but she is a super happy girl and thriving in every other way so who cares!
Who knows what this next month will bring?!

8 mth Adventures of Miss S

How am I already writing up Miss S’ 8 mth adventure post?
I feel like I just wrote up her 7 mth post.
But here is a recap of all the fun adventures that happened over the last month.
8 month photo shoot occurred just like every other month on her monthly birthday.
She is getting interesting to photograph because she is now super interested in the camera.

The month started off super fun as we went on our first camping trip as a family.
We borrowed a friend’s camper and headed down to Mesa Verde Cliff Dwellings and the Grand Canyon.
Miss S had a rough start to camping the first night but luckily it got better.
SO:
-she got to sleep out of her crib for the first time since she was an itty bitty baby
-took her first nap outside
-Got to see the Cliff Dwellings
-Got to see the 4 Corners Monument and each of us were in a different state
-Visited the Grand Canyon, though she slept the whole hike and woke up right as we reached the end of the trail.
-AND got to swim in an outside pool for the first time in her new float
She LOVES sitting in the bath tub by herself now.
She figured out she can splash and it is the best thing ever!
And I must say, it is so nice that Miss P and her can bathe together now!
She tried out a sippy cup for the first time.
And to go along with that sippy cup, we FINALLY started our veggies.
-She loved sweet potatoes
-Pretty much HATES green beans and gags the whole time she eats them or refuses to open her mouth
-Peas are ok. I don’t think she is a huge fan but she will somewhat eat them.
-Butternut Squash is also a fave.
Carrots are coming and I have a feeling she will enjoy those then onto some fruits!
Now that the weather is HOT, we have to keep cool if we go outside so fun in her little pool is what we do while Miss P plays in her big pool.
And a few other fun facts:
-She has known how to roll over for a long time now but RARELY did it. Suddenly, it just clicked with her that rolling over is a good thing and she does it non stop now!
-She is trying to crawl SOOOO hard. She is so close it just hasn’t quite happened yet. She did figure out she can push herself backwards though but that doesn’t happen all that much. She often just spins herself in circles.
-The day before Father’s Day, she started saying “Mama.” 🙂 She started saying “baba” before that. But by the end of the month, she started saying “Dada” as well. Her little voice is so cute.
Still no teeth! Which is insane since I swear I have spied those teeth since she was 4 mth old!

The 7 Month Adventures of Miss S

Seriously guys?!
Why is it when you were younger you felt like time DRAGGED by but now that you are older and have kids time just FLIES?!
How is Miss S seriously 7 mths old already?
Boo!
Here is a little recap of her adventures from this past month.
Unfortunately, my darn phone decided to factory reset itself and I lost some super cute pics from this past month that I didn’t upload anywhere else yet so I am super upset about that but it is what it is now.
Monthly photo shoot shots.
My mom made the cute watermelon patch just like she has made every patch for the girls.

As you can tell, Miss S’ personality is starting to shine a little more.
She is definitely a fun little girl!
Poor Miss S has to put up with so much from big sis, Miss P!!
Miss P loves to love on her and Miss S is starting to try to defend herself a little more these days.
Here are some proofs from her 6 mth pictures.
She got to help me celebrate my first Mother’s Day as a momma to 2 little girls.
– She loves playing in her exersaucer and has figured out has to spin herself around now.
-She wasn’t feeling too well so she got to stay up and hang out with momma.
-She now sits up by herself. It suddenly just clicked one day and she loves to sit now!
-Big sis and her sported their cute little bunny shirts that their Gammi made.
-We rarely get rain here and one day we had a great afternoon storm and this one LOVED sleeping during it.
-She just looked cute as always!
More fun things:
-Now sits in the tub for bath time by herself.
-She has even taken a few baths with big sis! (so wish I didn’t lose those pics!)
-She helped celebrate Miss P turning 2.
-And got to go swimming for the 2nd time.
Finally took her in for her 6 mth check up and she is itty bitty!
She only weighed 13 lbs. and was 25 in. so we have to go in for monthly weight checks to make sure she is gaining weight now.
So far this month has been very adventurous for her so next month’s recap post will be a big one!! 🙂

Ice Cream Birthday Party Decorations

**This post contains affiliate links**

As I previously shared, Miss P is officially 2!!

The theme of her party was an Ice Cream Party theme and I think I may like how this party turned out better than her 1st Birthday, but only by a little bit! 😉
I decided to throw her a party about 2 1/2-3 weeks before her birthday so I really had to go full swing into party planning mode once that decision was made!
Luckily, I knew that I wanted to do an ice cream party for quite some time so that was a big help when it came time to figuring out what I wanted to create or design.
Onto all the details!
Here are the invitations I created:
I made these using Photoshop Elements.
I bought the ice cream cone image and the bunting flags on Etsy and they came together in a small digital design kit.
The rest of the elements, I already had and just coordinated all the colors.
I will start outside and work my way through the house with the decorations.
Guests were greeted with this chalkboard sign I created.
I bought the sign at Wal-Mart and then just used Chalk Markers to decorate it.

I also hung my Summer Frame Wreath on the door to welcome the guests.
Guests would see the mantle first.
I didn’t change much of the decor for it, just added some large ice cream cone decorations and hung up a bunting banner in place of the braided ribbon garland.
Then, I just had guests place their presents around the mantle.
Here is an up close shot of the ice cream cone decorations.
I added a few decorations to the shutters and placed some items on the console table as well.
I created this ice cream cone garland for the top of the shutters.
I designed this sign to match the invitations and just printed it out on a sheet of paper and taped it to some foam board.
On the console, I placed this little sign with some envelopes and a pen to make it easy for me to send thank you notes out after the party.
Then I just placed a double scoop ice cream cone next to it.
I placed the favors on the other end of the console.
I found the ice cream cone crazy straws at Toys R’ Us and the bought these mini ice cream cookies from Fairy Tale Bake Shoppe off Etsy.
I just created and printed the little thank you labels, again, matching the invitations.
On the dining room table, I placed a pink plastic table cloth and then used some of the scallop garland I created as a runner. Then I placed 3 double scoop ice cream cones.
Heading toward the kitchen now… On the small dining table I placed a round white plastic table cloth then cut some wrapping paper in a square for a little color. I already had the tulips so I placed them in the center of the table with some double scoop ice cream cones next to them.
Above the table, I hung two ice cream cone honeycombs that I bought from Target.
Across from the table, we moved our bar.
It was placed right behind the couch and I used it as the drink station.
I covered the bar in a yellow plastic table cloth and then placed the fun bunting banner that I found at Wal-Mart around the top rim.
I placed another large ice cream cone that I created on top and then used mason jars for cups again this year.
I found these awesome Mason Jar drink dispensers at Wal-Mart for only $10 so I HAD to snag them up!!
There was also bottle water and an ice bucket on the station as well.
How awesome are these drink dispensers?! LOVE!
I served Strawberry Lemonade and Sweet Tea again this year.
I made water bottle covers to match the invitations and printed them on some Label Wraps I found at Office Max.
Here is the dessert table.
I covered the table in a pink plastic table cloth and then used another one to make a skirt for the table. I gathered it every so often and use velcro to stick it to the table.
On the wall behind that table, I hung wrapping paper on the wall and then hung scallop garland that I created from the ceiling.
On the left side of the table, I placed this chalkboard I created along with the bowls, spoons, and napkins.
In the center of the table, I placed the ice cream cone cupcakes I made.
I created chocolate with mint chocolate chip frosting cupcakes and then funfetti with strawberry frosting cupcakes.
I wrapped two gift boxes to make the cupcakes higher and on top of the one of the boxes, I placed a min muffin tin and wrap it with the box. We then cut holes in the top of the paper and this is how we held the cupcakes so they wouldn’t fall over.
In front of the cupcakes, were all the ice cream toppings.
I just placed different toppings in small glass bowls and taped labels to the bowls.
I also labels some syrup toppings I had placed in squeeze bottles.
I baked up some chocolate chip and sugar cookies so guests could make ice cream sandwiches if they wanted or they could just enjoy the cookies.
On the right side of the table, I placed two large ice cream cone decorations.
In one of the cups, I placed a purple glittered 2.
In front of the ice cream cones, I placed this frame that I found at Michaels and printed out another picture I designed.
Then in front of the sign, I made some Marshmallow Pops and placed them in another wrapped gift box.
Travis drilled holes in the box before I wrapped it and then we just used a small knife to find the holes before pushing through the sticks.
And lastly… the birthday girl.
My mom created the embroidered shirt for her and I made the tutu for her.
She looked awfully cute!
So there you have it!
Miss P’s 2nd birthday ice cream party!

Stay tuned because I have tutorials for many of the items I created for her party!

Miss P is 2!!

Yep, you read that right!
Miss P is officially 2 years old!
I have no idea how that is even possible but it is true! Time sure is flying!
Saturday was her actually birthday and we had her party that day as well.
I decided that I was for sure going to throw her a party about 2 1/2 weeks earlier so I really had to get my butt in gear quickly!
I went with the Ice Cream Party theme and I think it turned out rather cute if I do say so myself! 🙂
Here are the invitations I created.
I then created a few other items that coordinated with the invitations.
Here is the birthday girl all ready to party.
My mom created the ice cream shirt for her and I created the tutu at the last minute.
I had to wake her up from nap for her party so she wasn’t in a super fabulous party mood but she eventually warmed up.

With her daddy.
And notice her puffy, bruised eye?! Earlier in the morning she smacked her eye on the corner of Travis’ nightstand and it swelled and bruised immediately. This girl is so accident prone! lol
We grilled out some hamburgers and hot dogs and then I made pasta salad, potato salad, and a fruit salad as sides.
Everyone enjoyed just hanging out in the pretty weather we were having that day.
Miss sassy!
It definitely took her a while to get in the party mood.
P got a hold of the camera and wanted to take some pics.
Here is her shot of Miss S just hanging out.
I was thrilled that Miss S let other people hold her and didn’t freak out so I could enjoy the party too.
Another shot that P took of Miss S’ boyfriend Mr. J with his daddy.
It’s her party and she’ll cry if she wants too!
I took the camera away from her and she was not very pleased.
We asked if she wanted to open gifts and she took a be line to the house.
Everyone was very gracious with the gifts and she had a blast opening presents.
She wanted to open every single thing as soon as she opened them so it was a little difficult to get her to just put it aside and keep going.
She got some new dolls, a few fun kitchen items, a bubble machine, some dress up clothes, and a camera all her own!
After she opened her gifts, she tried to share some of her toys.
She tried to give Miss S some toy horses and then Mr. J one of her dolls.
And we ended the day with ice cream and cupcakes before just hanging out some more.
We actually remember to sing Happy Birthday to her this year and give her a candle! Yay! She wasn’t so sure what was happening but when we told her to blow out the candle, she did!
It was a fun day and luckily it stayed sunny and gorgeous out until the party was over and then the sky opened up!
I still can’t believe that she is 2!!!

Stay tuned for all the fun details on the party itself!
I will have a post next week on just the decor and then some posts on the projects I created for the party. 🙂
