Ten Inspiring Fall Vignettes for Your Home

Hi readers, it’s Molly from Just a Little Creativity. How’s everyone enjoying August? Back to school always makes me think cooler weather should be happening as well, but for us here in Florida, it’s still soaring in the 100’s. While I was just here last month sharing my popsicles recipe, the reality is that Fall is right around the corner.
If you’re planning to decorate your home for Fall and Thanksgiving, now is the time to start planning. When you plan ahead and give yourself time to shop or create, you can get the best deals.
I created this collection of 10 beautifully inspiring Fall vignettes for you using the Roundup Friendly Blogs search engine, which I also participate in (if you’re a blogger and are interested in joining, you can sign up and read the Terms of Use agreement here https://bit.ly/RFBAgreement).
These vignettes that I chose to inspire you are full of variety- fireplaces, shelves, even a piano have been decorated for Fall.

Pinterest is nice to browse, but stopping by the bloggers who are the
real creators, you get the full inside scoop on how something is put
together. The helpful tips and advice bloggers dish out is invaluable.
I’d love for you to stop by Just a Little Creativity and say hello.
Otherwise, I’ll see you here again next month!

Tub and Shower Cleaner- Pinterest Find

For this month’s Pinterest Challenge Party I decided to try something out that I’ve been wanting to try forever now- making my own tub and shower cleaner.
The original pin came from The Craft Patch if you’d like to check it out.
All you need is some White Vinegar and Dawn Dish Soap.
The image I pinned said to heat up the vinegar in the microwave for 90 secs. and then add the soap but microwaving it isn’t necessary.
It also calls for equals parts of each but I didn’t put the same amount of Dawn in it because I had a friend who tried it say she had a ton of bubbles so I used a little less.
I wanted to try it on the floor of our shower.
I actually washed the floor with a commercial cleanser first and as you can see, it didn’t do anything.
I mixed up this cleanser and sprayed it on. It actually said to leave it for an hour before wiping but I didn’t let it sit that long, not long at all actually, and it still worked pretty good.
Next time, I will let it sit the whole time to see if it does any better.
I also used it on our shower door and it worked great at removing the soap scum.
I only made a small amount of this to test it out but I will definitely make a bigger batch next time. Hopefully, it will save us some money in the long run as well from buying those expensive cleansers.

Winter “One”derland Party Decoration Tutorial

Some friends of ours little girl just turned one and the theme of her party was “Winter “One”derland Party.”
I offered to help in any way and she asked me to make something for the door.
I saw this cute 1 on pinterest then made it in the party colors and a little more wintery with the snowflakes.
It is super easy to make too!
 How to:
(Sorry for some not so great pics! It was a spur of the moment make and take pictures of type of project.)
Supplies:
-Form cut into a 1 or other number
-Felt
-Hot glue gun
-Scissors
-Ribbon
-Snowflake shapes

Cut your felt into squares and then make your squares circles.
Place a little bit of glue in the center of the felt and fold to make a flower looking piece.
Hot glut the flowers onto the form board.
I alternating my 4 colors as I went.
Glue until fully covered.
I then glued some ribbong to the back on the bottom and then glued some paper snowflakes I cut out to the ends to tie in the winter.
Better shot of the 1.
It was a really cute addition to the birthday party!
