We headed up to Tickled Pink yesterday morning since we haven’t been since Thanksgiving and guess what….. I FINALLY remembered to bring my camera!
Now I can share this place with all of you.
So there are A TON of pictures, not all great though so warning. It was amazingly hard trying to take pictures in this place since it is so crowded with items and the bad lighting.
But here we go…
Welcome to Tickled Pink!
It’s in a old house in Louisville.
We have a bit of a pattern that we walk every time we go here. Makes it SO MUCH EASIER to go through this place.
We always start with the garage out back.
This is actually the emptiest we have EVER seen this garage. It is normally overflowing with only an aisle to walk through. He told us since it’s been so cold, he’s struggling finding estate and garage sales.
Sign on the garage.
Once we are done in the garage we head in to explore the 3 levels of goodies.
This is the booth immediately as you walk in. We browse through here and another one by the front door then make out way downstairs to the basement.
Welcome to the basement!
I took this pic right as I walked into the basement shot in one direction. Stuff, stuff and more stuff. You can find lots of kitchen items, candle sticks, chandeliers, books, furniture, frames, vases, and oh so much more!
This is a shot of the shelves in the other direction, though they break up the space.
I am standing on one end of the basement shooting toward the other end. Lots of different booths down here full of tons of goodies!
Shot toward the other end.
This place is just a maze of furniture full of items!
Last booth before we head back up the back stairs to the main level.
This is only a small shot of the room you enter as you walk up the steps. It is a tiny room and it never fails, you always run into someone going the opposite way you are and you have SQUEEZE past each other! lol
This is a shot of the main level. I am standing in the back of the store and looking toward the front door.
More shelves= more maze.
We browse the back section for a few before we head into the back room.
In this back room you will mostly find dishes, glasses and other kitchen items. But you can find a random frame, mirror, or something else fun in here too.
Let’s head upstairs to the 3 level, shall we?!
Up the back stairs we go and Yes… even the stairwells are FULL of stuff on the walls. Every nook and cranny has stuff in it, including the bathroom!
This is the first room we walk into. It never has much in it but we always browse it anyways.
This is the tiny hallway between the first room and the second. FULL and a tight squeeze!
This is a shot of the hallway looking into the other rooms from the first room.
Room two upstairs. We’ve found some fun goodies in here.
Onto room three, what used to be a kitchen way back in the house’s hay day. Kitchen items and much more are found in here.
This is in what used to be a bathroom at some point. Very tiny room but packed full of stuff!
Still in the bathroom.
Now onto one of the bigger rooms- room six I believe.
There were lots of shelves in here today. But there is a mix of everything in this room.
Wall of shelving on one end.
And this is the last room upstairs… room seven. A mismatch of items in here too but we’ve found great things in here!
Shot of the old fireplace on one end.
Shelves near the other end.
Maze continues! More stuff!
And I just HAD to get a picture of this GIANT jar of buttons! It was $20 and Travis was trying to get me to buy it. It was HUGE! I could never use all those buttons!
After we browse upstairs, we head back down the front staircase and browse the middle section of the main floor before we check out (told you we have a system on how we walk through this place!). Sorry, no pictures of the middle area. It was super busy down there when we came down so I didn’t want to take pictures with someone in the background.
We left with some goodies that I will show you later.
But we always have a great time when we go here!
Tony, the owner, is so trusting too. If you find something in the garage, he wants you to put it directly in your car and you just bring the tag in. Awesome guy!
So if you are ever in Louisville or live in Louisville and have never been here, you MUST got to Tickled Pink! They are closed on Saturdays so head’s up. That is the day that they go out to sales for new items. The best day to go is Sunday morning when he reopens after shopping all weekend! They open EARLY and people wait for them. 😉
Go, explore, and have fun!
Tell Tony that Travis and Allison Michelena sent you! 🙂
Hope you had a nice weekend!
