I bought a magazine that was full of Christmas Decorating ideas, can’t remember the name of it at this time, but I saw this snowflake in it and knew that I wanted to make it.
I had the perfect place in mind for it so I went out and got the supplies I needed and got to work.
-6 Paint stir sticks (I had 3 but then just went to Lowes to get the rest)
-Popsicle sticks (large tongue depressor size and regular size)
-Skinny sticks (They are thin square shaped wooden sticks)
-Wooden shapes (I choose circles but in the magazine they used squares and triangles
-Paint or spray paint
I had two different size paint stir sticks. So I begin by gluing two sticks together at the end.
If all of your sticks are the same length, then glue your sticks together by overlapping one stick on the other.
To make the rest of the sticks the same length, I placed the next two sticks on my first group. I marked where the one stick overlapped on the other. Then glued the two together.
(This is how you will glue all of your sticks if they are all the same length.)
You could easily make smaller ones too with just the popsicle sticks!
If you have any questions about this feel free to ask.
Also, if you make one, Please link back to me and I would love to see it!
Also, the Holiday Open House party is still going on so if you haven’t go link up your Christmas living room decor.
Linking up to some of these parties.
